Katavi National Park is remote, raw and rarely visited — reachable only by light aircraft. In the dry season, its floodplains draw immense concentrations of buffalo, elephant and lion, while shrinking pools crowd with hippo and crocodile. It is the safari for the traveller who has seen the Serengeti and wants the truest kind of silence.
